At The Funhouse

Troy: (becoming delirious with fever) Oh God! Oh, fever. Fever. And chills. Headache. Next neurological and cardiac complications. Then death. Unless I get help. . . . Help. Help! HELP! (struggling again to break free)

Troy: (resting from his efforts to break free) I'm going to die here. I'm going to die here. (rememebering his kiss with Nora at the cemetery) Come on Troy! Come on Troy. You can do it. Come on. (renewing his struggle against the chains, he snaps one of the metal supports on the wheel) Oh good. Oh that's it! That's it! Come on. Come on, don't give up. Keep trying, keep trying.

Troy is still struggling to break free, his breathing becoming more labored and rasping. The room begins to spin as his fever spikes, then he passes out. Later, he's awakened by Nora's voice calling him. He struggles to lift his head and sees her standing near the secret passage.

Nora: Troy!
