At The Hospital

Lanie is sleeping in a chair in the lounge having another dream about Colin.

Lanie: Colin!

Colin: (leaning against a post, holding a present) You just can't stop dreaming about me, can you? I'm . . . mmmmm . . . touched! (laughing)

Lanie: (jumping out of her chair) Go away! Leave me alone.

Colin: NOPE! I don't think so.

Lanie: You're dead!

Colin: (leaning against the chair) You have such a firm grasp of the obvious Lanie.

Lanie: What is that?

Colin: You don't recognize it?

Lanie: No!

Colin: Well you should. It's your Aunt Louise's wedding gift to you and Bo. Now how come Aunt Louise didn't send you and I a wedding present when we got married Lanie, hmm? Can you tell me that? . . . No!

Lanie: Colin stop it!

Colin: Well maybe that's because (coming up behind Lanie) SHE'S NOT REAL! (he laughs his sinsiter laugh)

Lanie: How did you get that?

Colin: Well you returned it, remember, to the store where you bought it.

Lanie: Give me that! (She starts to grab for it and he plays keep away from her using the post as a barrier, having her reach for it and then yanking it back. He does this like 3-4 times.)

Colin: Sending yourself a wedding present, how pathetic can you get? . . . You're NO closer to marrying Bo than you were before. (giving up, Lanie sits down and Colin leans on the back of the chair) Ah, well maybe that's because he's BORED with you. I know I was by this point.

Lanie: Bo loves me.

Colin: (he cracks up laughing, then sits beside her) Oh you KILL ME! . . . Lanie you can invent a whole wedding party and you STILL couldn't drag your man to the church on time!

Lanie: NO, YOU'RE WRONG! Bo loves me!

Colin: (sitting on a table, legs crossed) Aaaaaa! Guess again. Should have used a lifeline!

Lanie: He wants to marry me!

Colin: OH yeah, sure he does. That's why you had to pull this stunt to drag him down the aisle. To bad it failed.

Lanie: I didn't pull any stunt! (gets up and paces)

Colin: OH NO! What do you call lying to the man you love to get what you want? And for WHAT Lanie! That engagement ring is looking awfully lonely. Mmmmm . . . a story of a good girl gone bad.

Lanie: NO it's not true! It's not true! (sitting)

Colin: (hopping off the table and standing in front of Lanie) Wait a minute! You killed your father and you lied to your fiancee. You make me look like an angel. (kneeling) Do you really think that's the kind of woman Bo wants to marry? I don't. (he laughs)

Lanie: No, Bo loves me. Bo wants to marry me. You love me. (She finally starts to wake up, mumbling that Bo loves her.)

Troy: (kneeling in front of Lanie) Doctor, you okay?

Lanie: (jumping out of the chair) NO COLIN, get away from me!

Troy: Are you okay? Look, I'm not Colin. I'm Troy. I'm not going to hurt you.

Lanie: I know, I . . . I am so sorry.

Troy: It's okay. Wow! Colin still gets to you, doesn't he? Even in your dreams.

Lanie: No, it . . . it has nothing to do with Colin. I just pulled an all-nighter. I'm overtired. (goes to get some water from the cooler)

Troy: Yeah, yeah sure you are. Look, why don't you go home and get some rest. I can cover your rounds.

Lanie: No you don't nee to do that.

Troy: Are you sure? Cause it's not a problem.

Lindsay enters the lounge.

Lindsay: Well, isn't this interesting! . . . And creepy on so many levels.

Troy: (amused) We were just discussing Dr. MacIver's schedule.

Lindsay: Oh, looking for an opening, are we?

Troy: (smiling) You're very funny. (walking over to Lanie) You let me know if I can be of help, okay? (looking back at Lindsay, he smirks then leaves)
