Troy walks in his loft, catching Sam going through his unpacked boxes.

Troy: How did you get in here?

Sam: (tossing the picture of Troy and Colin aside, he holds up his set of keys) You should change your locks.

Troy: That's a great idea. I think I'll do that just as soon as you get the hell out.

Sam: Not until you tell me what you're doing here.

Troy: What I'm doing here? I live here.

Sam: No, you said that you were leaving town.

Troy: You broke into my house. You don't get to ask the questions. Now get out before I call the cops.

Sam: Go ahead. Because that's the only way you're gettin' rid of me.

Troy: I'll tell you what. I won't call the cops if you get out of here right now.

Sam: Not until you tell me exactly what you're doing here.

Troy: Apparently you don't hear very well. I said you don't get to ask the questions.

Sam: Your brother tried to destroy the woman that I love. So I want to know, and I want to know right now!

Troy: Fine! Fine! You want to know I'll tell you. I'm using the money that Colin left me to open a free clinic. That way I could give back a little of what Colin took while he was here.

Sam: There's not enough money in the world to undo what Colin did.

Troy: Well I'm not going to just walk away.

Sam: Well, so you're Llanviews great new philanthropist? That still doesn't explain why you're in Will's loft.

Troy: As I told your ex-wife, I had no idea who the previous owner was.

Sam: I don't buy that.

Troy: Look, Will didn't show me the place. He didn't show up at the closing. And the real estate agent neglected to tell me that the place was haunted by Rappaports!

Sam: I thought haunting was a MacIver specialty.

Troy: She also failed to tell me how many sets of keys there were. So if you don't mind?

Sam: Oh you don't need these. You're changing your locks, right?

Troy: (clearing his throat) Yes, I am changing the locks.

Sam: And making a few other changes around here.

Troy: A few.

Sam: You're really settling in, aren't you?

Troy: It does seem that way.

Sam: Well, I'm going to find out what you're really up to . . . before you cause any serious damage. (walking towards the door, he intentionally bumps into Troy's shoulder)

Troy: (turning to face Sam) I'm a physician. I'm here to undo the damage. And in time you'll see that.

Sam: Yeah I will. And in the meantime you so much as even look at Nora, you even so much as think about her, I'm going to make you wish you never set foot in this town.

Troy: Oh yeah! How are you going to do that Sam? Are you going to beat me up for looking at your girlfriend?

Sam: Just don't forget what I said.

Troy: I changed my mind. You're not going anywhere. You got some guts Rappaport, breaking into my home.

Sam: This was Will's house.

Troy: You're going to break into my home and threaten me, and then not even offer me any explanation!

Sam: You don't like it. (walking past Troy over to a stack of boxes)

Troy: No I don't like it, Captain Obvious!

Sam: Here! (picking up one of the boxes, he throws it on the floor) Don't unpack.

Troy: (laughing) Oh that's a good time, isn't it? Let's all do that. (He picks up the box throws it again) Well now that I'm packed, I am staying and I don't care what you think about it!

Sam: Nobody wants you here.

Troy: Are you and Nora having some troubles?

Sam: NO, I am warning you MacIver.

Troy: Yeah, well I'm sorry if Nora didn't mention to you that she saved my life the other day.

Sam: I told you not to even mention her name.

Troy: WHAT are you going to do about it?

Sam: YOU WANT TO TALK? FINE! (grabbing Troy's lapels, Sam pushes Troy back against the wall) Then why don't you tell me how you weasled your way into her path so she could save your life?

Troy: (smirking) OH I hate to be the one to break this to you Sam.

Sam: (holding Troy against the wall) Well go ahead.

Troy: Nora came to my hotel room . . . alone . . . because she wanted to see ME! (smirks)

Sam: Nora wouldn't come to see you.

Troy: Really? Because I didn't invite her.

Sam: She can't stand the site of you.

Troy: So why are you so mad Sam, hmm? Aren't you just a little bit worried?

Sam: (letting Troy go) You're as pathetic as your brother was. He had to drug and kidnap women to get them to spend time with him.

Troy: YOU shut up about my brother!

Sam: Tell me Troy, have you been having Rhett Butler fantasies?

Troy: SHUT UP about my brother. (Troy punches Sam) I got news for you SAM! (holding Sam down against the boxes) As of right now, you desperately have something to worry about. Let me tell you something Rappaport! I LIVE where I want; I WORK where I want; and I DO what I want! And if I WANT to be with Nora, I WILL BE!!

Sam, enraged by Troy's statement, pushes Troy off of him and shoves him away and Troy goes out the window.
