Lindsay: Are you following me?

Troy: You know I was going to ask you the exact same question. You see this is MY place now.

Lindsay: What do you mean this is your place?

Troy: Which part of that statement didn't you understand?

Lindsay: This was my son's loft.

Troy: Ah right. The operative word being "was". (stepping between Lindsay and the door)

Lindsay: My son would have never willingly sold this to you. So what did you do, blackmail him?

Troy: Once again Miss Rappaport you mistake me for my late brother. I'm the law abiding one.

Lindsay: Ah hah...and how did you end up with this place?

Troy: Will turned it over to the bank. I had no idea it had ever been his. I'll tell you though, he must have left in quite a hurry

Lindsay: Yes he did. In fact, he left a box of his personal belongings in there. Things that he'd like his family to have.

Troy: (stepping right up to Lindsay) Is that why you're here?

Lindsay: Yes.

Troy: You weren't following me?

Lindsay: Of course not.

Troy: Well alright, I'll get that box for you.(opening the door and walking in) Would you like to come in Miss Rappaport?

Lindsay: Why?

Troy: (walking into the room) Come on Miss Rappaport, if there's anyone that should be afraid of us being alone, it's me. (taking off his coat) But fortunately I haven't unpacked any lethal weapons like knives, blunt objects or pillows.

Lindsay: (walking into the loft) You're really going to live here?

Troy: That's right, I am. I think it worked out well, don't you? Sort of keeping the place in the family.

Lindsay: But you aren't in my family! (walking towards Troy) I don't understand why you need a place at all.

Troy: The usual reasons; roof over my head, place to sleep at night. (sits down on a dresser)

Lindsay: You know what I mean. Why do you need a place in Llanview?

Troy: Well, isn't it obvious Lindsay. I plan on settling down here . . . for good! (Lindsay turns away to hide her surprise)

Lindsay: You're staying here?

Troy: (stands and walks over to the refrigerator) You know I gotta ask you, do you always repeat what people say, because it's kind of an annoying habit? (opening the refrigerator)

Lindsay: I'm annoying! What about you moving into this place?

Troy: (slamming the refrigerator door closed, and walking towards Lindsay) Look, as much as you'd might like me to, I can't just drop off the face of the earth. I do have to live somewhere.

Lindsay: Well you don't have to live in Llanview.

Troy: No, that's true, I don't.

Lindsay: Why would you want to live in a place you're not wanted?

Troy: Because I'm not wanted.

Lindsay: (studying him for a moment) I was right wasn't I? You did come here to finish Colin's dirty work, didn't you?

Troy: (stepping around her, he walks over to the window) Actually Lindsay, it's the exact opposite. I came here to make amends to all the people my brother hurt.

Lindsay: (laughing) Oh come on, how naive did you think I am?

Troy: How naive do I think you are? I think you just might be the least naive person walking this planet.

Lindsay: And that would be correct. Nobody believes that you're here to make amends. Nobody wants your amends. Nobody needs your amends. In fact nobody wants anything to do with you.

Troy: (leaning on the window frame) Speak for yourself.

Lindsay: I am. I see you have your brother's talent for torturing people.

Troy: Torturing people! Is that what I'm doing to you Lindsay being here in Llanview? (sitting in the window)

Lindsay: And Jen, and Lanie and Nora. Especially Nora.

Troy: Ah hah, especially Nora! I see, so you're concerned about Nora's happiness, is that right?

Lindsay: Why shouldn't I be?

Troy: Well that's interesting, because I'm concerned about her happiness too.

Lindsay: How is she suppose to feel walking around town, constantly running into that face?

Troy: (standing) Unfortunately I can't do anything about my face, Lindsay. I wasn't consulted when my parents gave it to me.

Lindsay: That is the face of a womanizer, a blackmailer and a kidnapper you know.

Troy: I know that. And I do understand if certain people can't get past that. (walking up to Lindsay) Fortunately other people can, like Nora for example.

Lindsay: You talked to her?

Troy: I did! I did. I talked to Nora. I had quite an interesting conversation with Nora. And we both realized that we don't have to be enemies, because in a way we both were victims of my brother.

Lindsay: Oh! I see, you and St. Nora found a common ground. Why doesn't that surprise me?

Troy: (laughing) St. Nora is it? Saint! Wow! (walking over to the table, he picks up a box) You know, for someone interested in Nora's happiness, that doesn't sound too flattering.

Lindsay: I certainly hope that you don't intend to join Nora's crusade against me.

Troy: (carrying the box over to Lindsay) Well right now, the only thing I intend on doing is taking a nap.

Lindsay: In the middle of the day?

Troy: It's amazing how exhausting you can be Lindsay. Here. (hands her Will's box) This is what you came here for, so why don't you just take it and get out!

Lindsay: Why don't you get out! Why don't you leave Llanview. Nobody wants you here.

Troy laughs and goes to open the door, gesturing with his hand for her to leave.

Lindsay: (walking to the door) I am not through with you.

Troy: (laughing) Well I'm through with you. (Pushing her out the door) Goodbye Miss Rappaport. (He shuts the door behind her)

Lindsay: (standing at the door, yelling) I am not through with you Colin, or Troy whoever you are calling yourself these days. (Troy stands at the door laughing.)

Lindsay starts to walk away and runs into Cris, who confronts her about the website and her involvement with Chad and Shawna in an attempt to break him and Jenn up. After Cris leaves to find Jenn and tell her about her mother, Lindsay picks up the box and Troy comes out.

Troy: (walking out of his apartment) Is that another good friend of yours?

Lindsay: What were you doing eavesdropping?

Troy: (leaning on the door frame) I don't think you can call it eavesdropping when it happens right outside your door. I pity the kid.

Lindsay: You pity the troublemaker?

Troy: Speaking of someone who was almost smothered to death by you, I pity anyone who crosses you!

Lindsay looks pleased with his impression of her.
